GCN reports that the Cananidan government has prohibited the importation of Loving Man and Man Loving Man two explicit but educational books on gay male sexuality. In early March, Canadian customs officials seized copies of both of the books and forwarded them to Ottawa for a decision. The Ganadian government then ruled the two books were "immoral and indecent" and banned them from Canada....

Congressman Louis Stokes D Cleveland has become the first Ohio U.S. House Representative to co-sponser HR 2998, the national gay civil rights bill. There are now 39 congresspeople who have affixed their names to the bill. While Stokes, to date, is the only Ohio congressperson to have made a commitment, Congresswoman Mary Rose Oakar and Congressman Charles Vanik, also both from Cleveland, have been known in the past to have expressed support for gay rights...

San Francisco's Sentinel notes that the daily Arab News has reported that two Saudi Arabian men been have beheaded for sexually assaulting a young boy. Moslem religious law which is also the civil law in Saudi Arabia dictates that sodomitic "criminals" be either dropped from the highest spot in their locality or put to death by sword......
